My wife, mother-in-law and I along with our Yorkie had a great stay here for a few nights. Loved the home’s comfort and was so well-stocked with everything you could imagine. We were there the week after New Year's and were very happy with the hiuse. Clean, roomy, and well provisioned. We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers, the 3 bedroom was perfect. It would work gtrat for 2 or 3 couples as well. Would stay there again!

As my family and I decided to visit the beautiful town of Pagosa during Christmas, we came across this adorable home and haven’t regretted almost anything about it! From the moment we entered it, the environment was cozy and comforting, especially being kid friendly home filled with board games one couldn’t count! The kitchen was well equipped with every essential one might need, and seemed to keep us prepared for all of our adventures! Every location was conveniently close as well, which was rewarding after a long day of exhausting activities. The only complaint we might have about this beautiful home is how slow the internet connection with the TV’s were, but fortunately, we weren’t home that often to have needed it desperately. Thank you so much for such an incredible stay!

Great location. Amenities were great! Kitchen had everything we needed. Grass was way tall when we arrive but a call to management and it was cut same day. It made a huge improvement!Both toilets ran and I notified management but no one came to fix them.

Clean home, beautiful views, and responsive staff made our vacation one to remember.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 10-day stay at Peakview Retreat. Loved the location, the amenities, and the views of the mountains and lake. We were very comfortable and felt right at home. The owners put a lot of thought into everything guests' might need. We loved the decor, as well. Short drive to hiking Piedra River Trail and the beautiful San Juan National Forest. The property management staff at VIP Companies, Inc. were very helpful and professional. Will stay again!!

We had a great stay at this property in Pagosa Springs! The communication from the management team was excellent and the activity planning option was a plus! The home is very clean and well stocked with all the essentials, we cooked several meals and the kitchen had everything we needed to feel at home. The home had plenty of entertainment options as well; board games, magazines and pamphlets, dvds, and the record player was fun. The views are stunning, great stargazing, and the neighborhood is very quiet with lots of wildlife roaming around. Shopping and restaurants are within minutes if needed. We hope to return, thank you!

I had a wonderful time in Pagosa Springs. The house was generously outfitted and very comfortable. There is so much to do in the area. I spent a lot of time on the front porch enjoying the view.

Property was heavenly, loved the location. Neighborhood quiet, peaceful. Fun watching the hot air balloons land close by. You have access to the lake for activities. The a/c is a big plus. The management team Pagosa Vacation Homes was awesome. They responded to a need outside of working hours. They also put out the garbage can and put it back. Lori was excellent. The house is really nice and comfortable, but difficult to locate in the evenings, especially when routes were changed, due to closed roads. The concierge was very responsive and provided essentials when requested.

The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Many games to play, giant TV's in every room. We only had 4 towels for 6 guests, but more were brought over when I asked.

great place to stay, super quiet and really close to the wolf creek ski resort. We had a short stay but enjoyed the home, had everything we needed for a quick trip.

Had a wonderful time on our weekend getaway. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful scenery. Especially loved the snacks that were left by our host after a long days travel. Absolutely love Pagosa Springs and will definitely stay here again. Note to add- our property manager was incredible, very communicative, and informative.

We had a great trip. Unlike some other experiences we’ve had this cabin had a well stocked kitchen with all the pots, pans and utensils. It was really clean. It is not a large cabin but it is well Layer out and all 6 of has space to relax.

Great family cabin to bring the kids and dog. Very close to the main highway so expect traffic noise. Loved the outdoor deck to sit and drink coffee in the mornings. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Bathroom jetted tub and sauna was a nice surprise. All beds were comfortable. Property management was excellent and very responsive to any questions, needs that we had.

This was our first time in Pagos and staying at Pagosa Hilltop Getaway. The home was the perfect size for our family for Spring Break. All beds were extremely comfortable and the living and media room were great! The bathrooms are very dated but other than that, we were happy overall.

The views from this house are amazing. The house is also very large and would accommodate quite a few people. The hottub was very relaxing after a day of skiing!

Great experience. Views from the deck are fantastic. House is close enough to town to be convenient, yet far enough away to enjoy the quiet mornings with the hot air balloons.

Best features of this home: comfortable beds, very roomy, well-stocked kitchen, two separate tv rooms, comfortable seating on the deck for the AMAZING views, and all the little extras that make you feel right at home! I can’t think of a single thing I’d change. Also, VIP is so great to work with.

We've rented multiple homes through VIP over the last 2 ski seasons and their service is top notch. Their properties are usually among the best in Pagosa, if you're skiing at Wolf Creek we recommend a home managed by VIP! This particular home as incredible mountain views and an amazing location. Close to shopping, skiing, restaurants....yet incredibly private on its own hill. The home is well equipped and comfortable, great for 2 families and perfect for larger groups. The wrap around porch is stunning. A few things to know: the basement is chilly and that's why extra space heaters are provided to supplement the wall heaters. You probably won't need space heaters once the home heats up after arrival. Most of the thermostats in the home run cold - meaning, you should set them higher than you would think you need (if you want 68 degrees, set to 75 and you'll be about there). Other than this - rent this house. We would rent it again. It was amazing.

The stay was great, the house was clean and welcoming and comfortable. The instructions for getting in were easy. Love every minute of our stay! The one thing we would recommend is more out door lighting by the hot tub. Maybe some hanging Christmas light would be great.

I am unsure words can describe what a wonderful time we had and the opportunities afforded us by the views.The House has an amazing great room in conjunction with a dining room and Kitchen. From this room and the deck we were able to see Elk migrating and even 2 bull elks having a "Discussion". We saw fox, and deer and coyotes. The Mountains were so close you could almost touch them. One night we invited my family that is local over for steaks on the grill and sat out in the rocking chairs on the deck and watch and amazing sunset. Another morning we watched an equally beautiful Full moon peeking thru the clouds, as it set. We have videos, pictures and memories that we will cherish for years to come. We plan on staying there in the future.
The management Company checked in on us and was very responsive to a request. The Tea Kettle had seen better days, and we found a new one on the doorstep that afternoon.

Great place to stay. Very well maintained and the beds/mattresses are comfortable for a great night's sleep. Very close to town for hot springs soak. Customer service was great and they checked on us periodically. Love the deck and being able to just sit and take in the views.

The house was just as advertised, absolutely beautiful! The beds were comfy, but the pillows not so much. Tons of room for our family of 7 and 2 dogs. I love when I can find a reasonably priced vacation home that is dog friendly! The views of Colorado from the wraparound patio were amazing!! Great location, lots of stores nearby, small town feel with everything you need. Only issue we had at the house was finding a place for our dogs to go potty. The ground was rocky and covered with wild flowers along with lots of tiny cacti. It was pretty, but our dogs didn’t care for it, they are spoiled and want a plush spot of grass. Maybe keep this in mind if you bring the fur babies.

This property was perfect for our vacation! The house was very spacious for 6 adults and 2 kids. The home was clean and everything we needed was provided. It had beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset. I highly recommended booking this home.

The house met all of our needs. The driveway is tricky, so be sure to get a four-wheel drive vehicle.

Beautiful deck with wonderful views! Nice large living area on upper level with large riom downstairs for gaming. Quick responses from management for any questions or needs up to, during and after our stay.

This rental had everything we as a family were looking for. The views are amazing ! Widows throughout the top floor with a wrap around porch to sit outside in the crisp morning to what the sunrise, or the sunset. The hot tub was clean and temperature just right to help relax your muscles after a day of hiking. The house was clean down to the baseboards, and no dust on the fans. It was sparkling in every room and bathrooms! The kitchen had all the utensils needed, but there are only two cooking pans. If a large family (there were only three of us) were to cook daily here, a few more pans would be needed. There is a large air-conditioning unit in the living room/kitchen but we just opened the doors to help with air circulation. The bedroom windows had screens so we slept with them open at night. They were thoughtful and left treats for our dog and baggies for his restroom breaks. The decor was not only beautiful but comfortable enough for an afternoon nap. The driveway is steep and for ease recommend a vehicle with AWD or a 4 Wheel drive. Just for peace of mind on getting up the hill. Things I look for in reviews -- its 5 min away from the closest grocery/liquor store/coffee shops. Its about 7 min away from Monument Gym that is open 24/7 and for a week pass is $20. I went for a walk outside and the traffic is low so walking on the side of the road is no problem. This house is true mountain home and we'll definitely stay here again. Thank you!

All in all a very nice place. We were without the use of one bath/shower but were reimbursed for it. Living area and bedrooms upstairs were very nice. Porch area was outstanding and the view spectacular. The step up in lower bath room was a bit dangerous.

The property has three bedrooms upstairs and a bedroom downstairs with three individual beds that can accommodate and additional three people.
Garage was space to accommodate a super crew full size pickup truck, was able to keep my Super crew full size pickup.
Cabin is built on top of a hill, beautiful view.

The pictures look great but the views are even better in person. The house was easy to get to and was about 3-5 miles from downtown Pegosa. It was about a 30 minute drive to Wolfcreek but was worth it every time as the views are incredible. Overall we loved this house and will definitely come back. We had zero complaints and had a perfect trip. It was described as a 3 bedroom but is actually 4 bedrooms. The family room and kitchen were open and had amazing views of the mountains from three sides. If you go in the winter or when there is snow on the ground, you may need 4 wheel drive to make it up the hill to the house.

The property is very clean and has gorgeous views. The sitting area and balcony are very spacious and can comfortably seat several people. We loved the balcony and felt it was the property’ s best feature! We saw a large herd of elk just yards from the property. The property has some steep steps and a step up to the downstairs bathroom which may be difficult for some to manage. The house was well equipped. I would suggest a couple of clocks for the bedrooms or in the sitting area. We would definitely recommend this property!

The property is in a great location, the view is amazing. The house is in good condition and well maintained. The windows are ok but need to be replaced which I’m sure the owners are aware of. We had a great time and we recommend this property for a great stay!

Loved the privacy of the place but also liked being close to town if we needed anything. The hot tub was a plus. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful House and Spectacular View

This was a wonderful place to stay and perfect for our two families. The downstairs was a fun retreat for the four kids, and they enjoyed having a sleepover in the room with four twin beds. We enjoyed many mornings and evenings on the wrap around porch to watch the balloons and wildlife. We even had a small bear one morning. It’s close to town and local stores/restaurants and the PVH staff was very responsive and helpful.My only feedback would be that the beds were quite uncomfortable and there needs to be more pillows available for guests. Otherwise, it’s a 5 star house!We will definitely be back!

If you’re looking for a place that’s close to downtown Pagosa Springs and views that can’t be beat - this is the house for you! We had more than enough space, enjoyed starry nights from the hot tub, and loved sitting by the fireplace after an adventure filled day. Property was clean and well-maintained and definitely family friendly.

Since the house was in a perfect location, we spent our vacation snowshoeing to frozen waterfalls and Nordic trails, eating downtown, and skiing at Wolf Creak. If you don’t want to travel too far, walking around the property is just as great or sitting on the wrap around porch as the sun sets.

Great isolated location but less than 10 minutes from town. Love the larger acreage to roam around. Lots of deer and turkeys to be seen. Nice hot tub and firepit. Will definitely stay here again next year!

Perfect for our needs and better than photos

We knew it would be wonderful, but this was WONDERFUL!! The house is incredible - lots of space & perfect for families. There were a total of 8 of us/two families: the 4 adults took up both the big, master bedrooms, and the 4 kids took the other spots (the two younger ones (5&6) took the bunkbeds, the 8yo took the big bed in the room, and the 13yo took the room attached to the kid/master bedroom). There was plenty of space and everyone was happy! PLUS - the noise blocking abilities of the house were phenomenal. We spent a whole lot of time outside either on the porch, around the fire pit, or at the table. We saw LOTS of wildlife: deer (a couple bucks, several does, and a baby!!), many lizards, a crazy amount of hummingbirds, a fox, an entire family of turkeys, and chipmunks! The house is well stocked and very comfortable. We highly recommend and would most definitely stay there again. The only negative is that there is no air conditioning and during the day/early night was very warm & uncomfortable. However, they had plenty of fans in the windows which helped immensely at night with cooling it down.
