Tall pines was exactly what we needed, we had a lovely time while in pagosa and the property management team I dealt with were fantastic!

I had a great overall stay! The vacation rental was in an excellent location, making it easy to explore the area. The home was clean and well-maintained, which added to the comfort of the experience. The management staff was very helpful and responsive, making the process smooth. Overall, it was a fantastic trip!

This was our third year to stay here and we continue to be impressed. The home is beautiful and tucked away from town. It is quiet and peaceful. The home is well-stocked and so, so clean! We always feel right at home. There are plenty of kitchen amenities to cook if you want to. There is a game closet and a bookshelf full of books (take one, leave one!) It is the perfect get-away for a couple or a family. Tall Pines Retreat is one of our favorite things about our annual ski trip to Wolf Creek. We wouldn't stay anywhere else!

All we can say is "Awesome". Our family does not get together regularly due to kids being in 2 states and Canada so when we collect we want to be able to spend time together and enjoy our location. Tall Pines Retreat checked all boxes and more. Located in a friendly community, with easy access to everything in Pagosa Springs as well as beautiful panoramic views all situated next to miles of great hiking/running trails. the house was amazing and fully decorated for the holidays, which really boosted the festivities. The house was fully stocked and in excellent condition, with everything we needed for cooking, snacking, playing dice and board games. But the highlight was the hot tub! Situated right next to the house it was extremely popular with everyone! Great night sky views along with relaxing sore muscles from all the hiking! We can't say enough about how much family fun we had during the week! Great Job and our highest recommendations! Enjoy as we did!

We just finished a 4 night stay with our two teenage daughters. This house was amazing. The location is so convenient to downtown Pagosa, Village Lakes and City Market. The deck was super comfortable and we loved sitting outside and watching the local deer wander by. The hot tub was a big hit as well. Overall I was most impressed by how organized and well labeled the house was. Often with a rental, I spend hours trying to find things in the kitchen or figure out how things work. Everything here was labeled and clear instructions were available. The kitchen was a joy to use, well stocked and amazing appliances. We will definitely return to this rental.

VIP did a great job finding an alternate home after the one we originally reserved had internet issues. The home we ultimately stayed in was very nice, clean and convenient to many of Pagosa’s shops. We would absolutely stay there again.

I would stay here again for certain. The property was exactly as described and seen in photos. It was clean and organized.

Our family of 6 including young adults, parents and a 9 yr old enjoyed our stay and the amenities of the cabin. Exceptionally well stocked kitchen with spices, bowls, knives and cookware all at your fingertips! Furniture and beds were comfortable. Lots of little details were well thought out and made our trip relaxing and fun! Close to town with good restaurants, a sledding hill and shops. We had 31” of fresh powder in less than 48 hrs that closed the pass and Wolf creek closed bc of avalanche potential But that didn’t ruin our trip because we had plenty to do at the house between movies, game night and the wonderful hot tub. Glad to hear they are building a covered area to make it easier to access during snowy conditions. We will definitely come back!

This home was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Four adults stayed here very comfortably. The kitchen had everything we needed and much more. The beds and bedding we comfy, the linens were high quality. The management company was on top of it and made sure we knew how to reach them if we needed anything. Beautiful home, beautiful location.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Tall Pines Retreat, and we have had a wonderful experience both times! The house is immaculately kept,fully stocked, and well organized! It offers plenty of room to relax after a day on the slopes. The well-stocked kitchen allows us to prepare and enjoy meals together. The hot tub is a perfect place to relax after a long day of skiing. The beds are incredibly comfortable and there are plenty of extra blankets and pillows provided. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, and only about a 45-minute drive to Wolf Creek ski resort. We love the extra touches provided, including a welcome note and little snacks. The property manager is helpful and responds promptly when you have questions. I would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery in a beautiful, spacious home!

Such a comfortable home!! This home had all that our family needed for our annual Wolf Creek Ski Trip! If you are coming to Pagosa, I would definitely recommend this home!

This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed at the immaculate Tall Pines Retreat. Nestled in the beautiful trees of Pagosa Springs, this property is a 5-10’mi ur drive from wonderful restaurants and shopping, and an easy 40-minutes driving be from Wolf Creek Ski resort. Its spacious floor plan is perfect for our family and provides lots of room to relax after a day of skiing! This “home away from hime” offers a fully stocked kitchen, great for cooking and entertaining. The bedrooms are warm and comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The hot tub just steps from the back door offers a perfect opportunity for relaxing after a day in the slopes! We plan on booking this property again next year…it’s a perfect retreat that to don’t want to miss out on!

This is becoming one of our favorite properties to visit. It is a well-stocked, well-managed cabin in a terrific location - not too far away from Pagosa Springs so as access to shops and restaurants is not inconvenient, but not too close such that you still feel like you're in the mountains.

Spacious home with lots of options and lots of guest supplies. Nice floor plan for guest room separation and for gathering in central living spaces. Enjoyed having two decks and used the hot tub every day. Appreciated that our pets were welcome and their needs were considered and use of the garage was also helpful when loading and unloading.

We came to get away and relax. It was so peaceful there. We spent most of the time enjoying the patio and wilderness. Every day the deer would come around the patio and the kids enjoyed watching them. The location was beautiful and a small lake nearby that we walked along. The beds were comfortable. They had everything we needed during our stay and they always got right back to us right away if we needed anything. We will definitely be coming back to this beautiful home!

My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at the Tall Pines Retreat in Paggosa Springs CO. We absolutely loved staying at this lovely home. The King bed in the primary bedroom is SO comfortable! The kitchen is very well stocked. It was really nice to be able to park in the garage. It was raining we arrived so that really helped to be able to unload under cover. We particularly enjoyed the covered deck! We spent our afternoons and evenings there after each day of ATVing, hiking the Chimney Rock Monument and Treasure Falls, and our last day, we finished with a Hot Air Balloon ride. We saw deer every evening; a mama with twin fawns visited each day and a couple of bucks stopped by a couple of times. When it rained the deck was so enjoyable to sit and listen to the shower. We only used the hot tub once. It was a bit warm for us but we did enjoy about a 20 minute soak. The Paggosa Springs Brewery is a 5 minute drive from the house. They had a great Scottish Ale! Mo's BBQ is right behind the brewery and had DELICIOUS BBQ. Have breakfast at Two Chicks and a Hippie restaurant. Very tasty! I highly reccomend the Tall Pines Retreat for your Paggosa Springs visit.

Wonderful stay at Tall Pines retreat in Pagosa Springs CO. We will not hesitate to stay here again if we visit Pagosa Springs again. The home is lovely & well appointed. Very comfortable King bed. Kitchen is large and well stocked. Our favorite feature was the covered deck. We grilled 3 of the 4 evenings we were there. We saw deer come through the yard every evening. We enjoyed cocktails every afternoon, even while it rained. Very relaxing stay. The neighborhood is very nice. I felt very safe. We saw many walkers on the neighborhood walking paths. Restaurants, grocery store and the Pagosa Brewery are all within 5 minutes of the home. Lori was good to come by when we had trouble getting the TV to connect with the internet. Nothing major. We just couldn’t figure out how to enter the password. All in all we had a wonderful stay at this home.

This was a spacious and comfortable home. We all 5 adults had a wonderful time relaxing and visiting. We spent a lot of time on the covered porch, and someone was always on the swing!
This was the best stocked kitchen with utensils I've ever rented. It was so easy to prepare meals in it that we never went out to eat.

We loved the Tall Pines Retreat property! It had everything we needed and we loved spending some time on the porch in the evenings when it rained. The hot tub was wonderful after hiking too.

This is the 4th year coming to Pagosa and I've got to say no matter what cabin we stay in because they're all amazing Stuart and Lori and there staff are the reasons we come back. They make everything so much easier and they are just amazing. This cabin was everything we hoped for. Plenty of space for our family. I will definitely br back for a 5th year next year and most likely come back this fall.

So clean, adorable decor, thoughtful touches throughout. Loved how light switches and kitchen were labeled. Beach towels provided for hot tub. Great communication from beginning to end. Would definitely stay here again.

It was excellent, the cabin, the snow, the hot springs, the hospitality of the locals. We went skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, soaking, shopping, hiking, hot tubbing, and eating... top 5 vacation for sure!

The cabin was excellent, we are already planning our next visit.

Snowboarding trip to Wolf Creek House was very clean and very well stocked kitchen was probably the best stocked kitchen of any VRBO we’ve been at hot tub was very nice one suggestion would be putting stairs off of the deck closer to hot tub to make it easier to get to as the path was a little icy and hard to navigate, but very small complaint otherwise this house was great very comfortable beds and served our family very and very clean
